I Love My Ipsy Glam Bag (formerly known as myglam) Yay!

Ok so here I am with another monthly subscription service. This is Septembers glam bag. I really like this one. When I joined it was known as myglam, but it has recently changed to ipsy, I don't know why they changed it, I guess I will have to check their website, I think myglam made more sense?! Lol. I guess they have a whole new section going on now, that includes more interaction from the subscribers like myself, so I still have that to explore, yay! Without further adieu, let me show you what I got in my ipsy glam bag!! and if you are interested in subscribing you must go visit them www.ipsy.com they send you an actual Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. I really love their service, and I'm excited to see what the new website has to offer. Check out the photos and video at the end of this post!

Isn't that awesome, well there you see my box was paid for already. I do love the products so far :)

Happy Birthday Mom, I love you & Miss You

I miss you momI can't believe how many years have passed since I lost my mother, and every year at this time, I take some time to remember her. Sure I do a bit of crying, it's perfectly natural. I think it makes up for why I didn't cry when I initially found out she passed away. It must of been shock, that is really the only explanation I have. I think my shock started before she actually passed away, I was in denial. It took me a little over a year before I actually started to cry. I guess my soul finally came to terms that she was gone. What a horrible feeling. Well I don't want this post to be all sad and stuff.

Remembering someone you have lost should not only be sadness but happiness that they are in a place much better than us. That's if you believe in Heaven, which I do :) I know she is in Heaven, and she is no longer in the pain she was when she was with us. My mom went through a lot in her life, from losing her mother when she was only a child, to losing one of her own children when she was young. She has lived so much, in such a short amount of time. I lost her 11 years ago, the moment I found out she passed is etched in my memory forever. The last time I seen her will never escape my memory either. Oh how I miss her, how I wish she was still her, but that is my own selfishness that wants her to be here. I miss her laugh, her smile, her smell. I just miss her ?

On Your Birthday, I love you Mom

Well there isn't much to say today. I have to admit when I woke this morning, I didn't remember it was her birthday, I hate mornings like that, not remembering things, but then it hit me, and I knew it was mom reminding me lol. I know it's silly but that's how I see it. I asked my William to drop by and pick up a candle on his way home, I completely forgot to ask him earlier in the week, although today is only Wednesday lol. I always burn a candle for her on her birthday, the day she passed, and on Christmas. I can't tell you how much I miss her, it hurts so much! I just need my time to cry. I'll be okay, it's just part of nature.

I made a short video of a few nice quotes I found on the internet, full credit goes to the makers. I miss my mom, no one will ever know how lonely that makes me feel. But I also have a lot of very nice memories, and things that make me giggle that remind me of her. I love you mom, and miss you so very much! That's all for today everyone, have a blessed week.

Happy October 1st, Bring On The Fall~

Wow I cannot believe that summer is really gone, I can't say I'm sad it's gone. Summer was nice for a change, the humidity surprisingly wasn't all that bad this year. Although I have to say we (William and myself) didn't get to do as much as we wanted to this summer. We really wanted to go to the drive in more often, since those are pretty much almost completely obsolete, so it's nice to know we have a couple fairly close, okay maybe 45 mins is not so close, but it's worth going. We didn't get a chance to really go because William had been working so much, I just didn't have it in me to tell him, "Come on lets go". When I know all he probably wanted to do is just relax, have a beer, play a little PS3, but just really relax, not have to go anywhere. This whole summer he worked almost 6 days a week, occasionally 7, and that was just getting to me, because I obviously care about his health, and that he gets proper rest and all. So like I mentioned I'm not so sad to see summer go, we all needed a break from the heat, and we finally got it.

The last week I would say has been probably the coolest, and today is no different. It's gorgeous out! I am talking about all the tress, and the beautiful colors that the leaves change, and the leaves on the ground, that is when you know it's truly Fall, or is it? Or do some say Autumn, or just Autumn/Fall? Either way you know what I am referring to. I hope to get a chance this Fall and take pictures, I haven't done that in a while, my second year here in Massachusetts I did get a chance to go around town and find interesting places to photograph. I hope I get the chance this year as well!

So what have I been up to? Well as you can see not a whole lot of blogging. My other blog I have just about completely abandoned. I was almost going to switch domains, but I decided against it. I have come to really like this ones, and I'm happy with it. I have also been diving into the while acrylic nail scene. I am still very very new to to. I have posted about it in the past. Even posted my first set, that didn't come out as nice as I had hoped. After doing that set, I realised I didn't file properly, or should I say i over filed my nails that it filed into my own natural nail bed, which is not a good thing. So I have been letting them heal, and to get the whole nail to grown out takes time. I believe it's been almost 2 months. I have done other little things, I have been working on my supplies, so that I have just about everything I could possibly want to experiment with. But I need to do most of the experimenting on the lovely fake fingers I have bought, and get some experience there.

Why am I doing this you may ask? Well I think initially I wanted it to be a hobby, but I am really liking this and if I like where it's heading. I would seriously pursue it as work. Perhaps even working from home for awhile. I have mentioned this in the past, and then just didn't talk much about it. I keep a youtube channel now, where if I'm lucky enough to remember to film it, and also if I like how the filming came out, then I will post it. I have posted some things, mostly hauls, some tutorials, a couple of designs, but nothing spectacular like some of the amazingly talent ladies I have had the pleasure of getting to know. But for the time being, it's going to be just a hobby, something fun to do.

I thought about having a separate blog for just my nails thing, but again it's just too much to be keeping track of. The one real website I want to keep, I need to make time for and finish it, so I'm sorry to anyone that knows which site I'm talking about. I still have my fanlistings, I was gong to move them here to this website, but due to lack of time, and deadline it was not possible, so I'm keeping it at thislove.nu for another year, and perhaps moving it here a few months before it's time for it to expire. So that's all I can think of to tell you all. I have posted a few youtube videos as of lately in my blog, so if you are interested in following me there, please feel free to click on though and check out my other videos. Ok well that is all for now. I have a lot to do, and time is ticking away. Have a fantastic day and week!
